Knife attack in Hadera leaves six injured amid terror alert
A knife-wielding attacker assaulted pedestrians in four different locations in the city of Hadera in central Israel. Six people were injured, one of whom is in critical condition. The police confirmed it was a terrorist attack, and the assailant was "neutralized."

On Wednesday afternoon (October 9), as reported by the local police, a brutal attack occurred in Israeli Hadera. The attacker, armed with a knife, assaulted pedestrians in four different parts of the city before being apprehended. Six people were injured.
- We arrived at the scene where there was a seriously injured person with stab wounds in multiple areas of his body and suffered from multisystem trauma. He was semi-conscious; we provided lifesaving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital. After that, we returned to the scene to continue treating other injured individuals - relayed one of the paramedics to "The Jerusalem Post".
Magen David Adom, the Israeli equivalent of the Red Cross, confirmed that "six people [were injured], including three in serious condition." Four pedestrians attacked by the knife-wielder were immediately taken to the operating room. "One of which was in critical condition, one severely wounded, and two in moderate condition," - stated Hillel Yaffe Hospital in a release, where the victims were transported.
Police: It was an attack
The attacker fled on a motorcycle. Police officers gave chase, involving a helicopter. Eventually, the perpetrator was reportedly shot by an armed citizen who witnessed the fourth attack.
The police confirmed it was a terrorist attack, and the attacker was "neutralized." The perpetrator, as reported by the Israeli broadcaster KAN, was Ahmad Jabarin, a 36-year-old Israeli citizen from Umm al-Fahm.
