Trump allegedly paid the former adult film actress for her silence about their affair.

He greeted her in pajamas
Stormy Daniels mentioned that she met Donald Trump in 2006 during a celebrity golf tournament. At that time, she wasn't sure about the man she had encountered. She added that he commended her astuteness when she told Trump about directing a couple of film productions.
The second time Trump praised Daniels' intellect, his security guard mentioned that this meant he would like to have dinner with Stormy. She initially declined. However, after giving it some thought, she accepted the invitation.
The meeting took place at a luxury hotel overlooking Lake Tahoe. Trump appeared at the hotel restaurant in satin pyjamas.
She felt "the room was spinning in slow motion"
Later, Daniels found herself in Trump's suite. When she inquired about Melania, he mentioned they don't even share the same bedroom. The man then showcased a magazine with his picture on the cover, which elicited an immediate reaction from the former adult film actress.
- I took it from him and I swatted him with it … right on the butt - continued the 42-year-old.
After that, she went to the bathroom. Upon returning, Trump was sitting on the bed in only a shirt and boxers. Daniels hadn't anticipated such a scenario.
- I had that moment where I felt the room spun in slow motion. I felt the blood leave my hands and my feet like you do if you stand up too fast. I was just like, ‘What did I misread to get here?" - she confessed in court.
At that point, she became intimate with Trump despite her attempts to leave. After hearing this detailed testimony, the judge ordered parts of it removed from the record. Then, the attorney for the former US president vehemently sought to have the trial dismissed without success.
