As part of recent actions on the western front, the Russian army managed to seize additional towns, which allowed it to approach the key logistical hub in Pokrovsk.

Additionally, on the northern front, Russian forces entered Novyi York, a town considered since 2014, when hostilities were initiated by Kremlin-backed separatist groups, to be a point on the front line.

Russia on the offensive

According to the daily intelligence update provided by British military intelligence, further tactical successes by Russian armed forces are possible in the coming weeks.

Nevertheless, the report highlights the weakening of the attacker's combat capabilities, which was caused, among other things, by shortages among the officer corps, insufficient training levels, and significant losses suffered.
