Ukrainian forces breach Russian border near Belgorod
"There is information that the enemy is trying to break through the border of the Belgorod region. According to the Russian defence ministry, the situation on the border remains difficult, but under control," announced Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the region. According to Russian military propaganda channels, about 500 Ukrainian soldiers are reportedly involved in the attack. Fights are taking place in two areas.
According to the pro-Kremlin channel Mash, Ukrainians are trying to break through in two areas: the village of Nekhoteevka and the highway checkpoint Shebekino.

The governor confirms situation is difficult
In the morning (Eastern Time), Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the region, announced that entry to the village of Vyazovo in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district will be restricted from today onwards due to the "difficult situation." Local authorities plan to consider the "relocation" of three more settlements tomorrow.
