The whole world is reacting to Kyiv’s unexpected decision. Ukraine has attacked the Kursk region and entered deep into Russia. The Belgorod and Lipetsk regions are also reported to be under fire. Strategic points, especially those with military airports, are being targeted. Several thousand soldiers, tanks, and armoured vehicles operate in enemy territory.

Eastern media report the use of numerous drones and artillery by Ukrainian forces. Ukraine is said to have taken control of several towns. The attack attempts to force the Russians to withdraw some of their troops.

The authorities of the regions have decided to evacuate the population due to the ongoing attack. Numerous appeals for help from residents have appeared on social media.

Some Russians have decided not to wait for Putin and the authorities in the Kremlin to provide support. They have decided to leave the country on their own. Many recordings from the Russian-Georgian border have appeared online.

The travel time between both checkpoints from the Russian Federation to Georgia is up to 24 hours EST. The traffic jam before the Verkhnii Lars - Dariali border crossing extends for over 10 kilometres, and vehicles with Kursk region markings dominate the scene, claims "Technicznybdg" on the X platform.
