The Ukrainian army struck the Russian military airfield and ammunition depots in Morozovsk in the Rostov region, as well as several fuel storage sites in the aggressor's country. Fires broke out in at least two of these locations, the General Staff in Kyiv reported on Saturday.

"Information is being collected about destroying air defence systems and enemy aircraft. The task was carried out by the forces and resources of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the staff stated on Telegram.

The destruction of the base is very valuable for Ukrainians. The 559th Bomber Aviation Regiment is stationed there, equipped with Su-34 aircraft. Due to their missions, these machines are among the most valuable for Russians.
