Many of the reports provided by Russian and Belarusian media or the authorities' representatives are propaganda elements. Such reports are part of the Russian Federation's information warfare.

Putin’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, stated that preparations are underway for Lukashenko’s visit to Russia. According to him, the topic of Ukraine is brought up at every meeting between the leaders of the Russian Federation and Belarus.

Earlier, Lukashenko expressed his readiness to assist in settling the Ukrainian conflict.

The Kremlin reacts to Trump's decision

The Kremlin described Donald Trump's decision to suspend U.S. military aid to Ukraine as the best contribution to the peace effort. Putin's press secretary stated that Russia needs to analyze the details of U.S. President Donald Trump's decision.

“The normalization of Russian-American relations should involve removing them from the burden of sanctions,” said Dmitry Peskov at a press briefing.

On Friday, the Russian news agency TASS reported that Putin signed a law ratifying an agreement with Belarus on security guarantees within the Union State.

As reported by the media, the document defines mutual obligations regarding defense, protection of sovereignty, independence, and the constitutional order of Russia and Belarus, ensuring the integrity and inviolability of the territory and the external border of the Union State.
