Tomatoes like warmth, bright spots without direct sun exposure, and humus-rich soil with a slightly acidic pH. It’s best to grow them in a greenhouse with the possibility of shading. Every gardener should have these facts at their fingertips. Also, remember that in summer, tomatoes need daily watering—in the morning or evening, they need to be used in standing water that is not cold.
Spray blooming tomatoes in June
But that is not the case for now because this vegetable yields crops around late July and August, while it blooms in June. You can now prepare a natural spray for the blooming period. An organic preparation will make this season’s harvest record-breaking, and the whole family can enjoy juicy tomatoes.
How to make a natural spray for tomatoes?
Be sure to avoid chemicals in your garden. Natural preparations are just as adequate and do not contaminate the soil. It’s worth treating blooming tomatoes with a bio-spray, which you can easily make at home.
What will you need? The ingredients list includes yeast, sugar, oregano, thyme, and water. First, add 1 cup of sugar to 60 grams of yeast and pour 1 litre of water. Set this mixture in a warm place for two weeks. Then, add 15 grams of oregano and thyme to each and let it sit for another week to allow the bioactive substances to take effect.
Then, you can dilute the ready spray at a ratio of about 125 millilitres per 2-3 litres of water. The preparation will contribute to more abundant blooming and protect the plant from all fungi and bacteria.
