Harris vs. Trump: Battleground states show a tight race

According to CNN polls conducted in seven key states, Kamala Harris leads in four, while Donald Trump is winning in two. In Pennsylvania, both candidates enjoy equal support. Other polls, however, suggest a slight advantage for Trump ahead of the presidential elections in the United States.

The two latest CNN polls, considering the key southern states, show minimal differences in Georgia and North Carolina.

With 16 electoral votes in Georgia, Trump gains a one-percentage-point lead (48-47), while North Carolina (also 16 votes) is the opposite. In both states, the difference falls within the margin of statistical error.

The situation is similar in the remaining five states analyzed by the SSRS centre for CNN, although Harris gains more in Michigan (15 electoral votes) and Wisconsin (11). There, her advantage is 5 and 6 percentage points, respectively. In Pennsylvania (19 votes), a tie is noted. In Arizona (11 votes), Harris wins by 1 percentage point, while in Nevada (6 votes), Trump leads by one point.

If the trends shown by the CNN polls reflected reality, Harris would win the presidency regardless of the result in Pennsylvania.

U.S. elections: polls are not conclusive

However, other studies published in the last 24 hours show a different picture, with Trump having an advantage.

AtlasIntel, a firm known for its rightward leanings, claims that Trump leads in Arizona by 4 percentage points and has a minimal 1 percentage point lead nationwide.

Fox News polls also indicate a one-point lead for Trump in Pennsylvania and North Carolina and a tie in Michigan. Studies from Monmouth and Quinnipiac universities also confirm a minimal Trump advantage in this state.

If these results were to be confirmed, Donald Trump would likely regain the presidency.
