Are you having difficulty falling asleep or feeling stressed lately? You might want to consider a method from Ayurvedic medicine that's gaining popularity. Known as moon milk, this natural drink is an alternative to pharmaceutical sleep aids.
Does moon milk really work?
Stress is a significant cause of sleep disorders among adults in Canada. It frequently leads to intrusive thoughts that make falling asleep challenging. While lemon balm is popular, it isn't always effective enough. Moon milk, which is rich in tryptophan, can offer relief. This drink is considered to be very effective.
Based on Ayurvedic principles, moon milk is made using milk, ashwagandha, cinnamon, butter, turmeric, and butterfly pea flower.
To prepare moon milk, boil about 350 millilitres of milk, and after it cools slightly, add butter, turmeric, cinnamon, ashwagandha, and butterfly pea flower. Stir the ingredients, and the drink will be ready after a few minutes. It's recommended to consume it an hour before sleeping.
