Chicken skewers from the oven: a weekly staple in my kitchen. They're that delicious!
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breast fillets,
- 2 oz of melted butter,
- 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika,
- 1 tablespoon of dried garlic,
- ⅓ cup of chopped dill,
- 1.5 teaspoons of salt,
- ½ teaspoon of pepper,
- juice of half a lemon.
How to make it:
Step 1. I begin the recipe by preparing the chicken. First, I clean and thoroughly dry the meat, place it on a cutting board, and then cut it into smaller pieces.
Step 2. Next, I put the meat in a large bowl and mixed it with the melted butter, finely chopped dill, and the spices—dried garlic, sweet paprika, pepper, salt, and lemon juice. I also added some oil to the mix.
I thoroughly combine the ingredients in the bowl to make sure they meld well, creating an ideal flavour blend.
Step 3. I then skewer the marinated chicken pieces onto three wooden sticks to ensure the structure is solid.
Step 4. I place the skewers on a baking tray, ensuring no piece of chicken directly touches the tray. This guarantees even cooking on all sides.
I bake the skewers in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
Step 5. I serve the delicious skewers with a vibrant salad. Bon appétit!
