In Nevada, 52 per cent of voters supported Trump, while 46 per cent backed Harris. In Arizona, Trump received 44 per cent, and Harris garnered 53 per cent.
The study reveals that 42 per cent of Nevada voters have already cast their ballots, and 55 per cent in Arizona. According to the forecast, the gap between the candidates will narrow each day, and by the end of voting, it will be just a one-percent difference. In Arizona, Harris is projected to win by 48 to 47 per cent, while in Nevada, Trump is expected to win by the same margin.
The local state university released a similar forecast for Arizona on Monday. Researchers indicate that the Democratic candidate has a slightly better chance of winning, although Republicans have a strong presence in Arizona.
Neck and neck: there's a poll from a key state
The stakes are high. Arizona is one of the key states—a victory there could secure as many as 11 electoral votes.
In 2020, Joe Biden won there by 0.2 percentage points. This was the first Democratic win in this state in a presidential election since Bill Clinton's time.
The elections in the United States will take place on Tuesday, November 5th.
