Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told CNN that former U.S. President Donald Trump was very supportive in a phone conversation two months ago.

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that he is ready to present his peace plan to U.S. President Joe Biden, the two presidential candidates—Donald Trump and Kamala Harris—and the U.S. Congress.

Asked about his response to Trump’s statements that he would end the war in Ukraine, Zelensky stressed that he doesn’t know the details and what that means. He pointed out that this declaration was made during the campaign period. - Election period and election messages are election messages. Sometimes they are not very real (...) - he added.

The first conversation between Zelensky and Trump in over two years

- I had a phone call with Donald Trump, and he said that he is very supportive, and we had a good conversation - he reported. Trump also said that he would support Ukraine and that he is aware of how difficult it is to survive during the war.
