A tragic end to a completely mindless stunt. A few days ago, social media circulated a shocking video showing a group of four teenagers riding on the roof of a subway train in Vienna. Two of them were from the Czech Republic. As they entered the Schönbrunn station, they struck their heads on a concrete walkway.

The video does not show the moment of the tragedy but shows its aftermath—one of the boys was lying injured on the subway roof with a severe head wound. Due to the graphic content, we are not including the video in this article.

Vienna. They rode on the subway roof. Tragic news from the hospital

Both injured Czech individuals were taken to the hospital, and their Austrian friends, aged 13 and 16, initially fled. However, they later reported to the police.

Meanwhile, the German newspaper "Bild," citing information from "Kronenzeitung," reports that after three days in the hospital, the 17-year-old injured in the incident died, followed by his 18-year-old colleague.

As reported by the German tabloid, the Vienna transport company strongly warns against this illegal and extremely dangerous trend.

We strongly appeal to refrain from such reckless and lethal actions. No video on TikTok, test of courage, or selfie is worth climbing onto a subway or tram and risking your life - was stated in the announcement.
