TikTok is a treasure trove of intriguing content, offering videos on a wide range of topics. Many people turn to the platform to understand health issues or compare experiences to see if others have similar problems. The app allows users to reach a vast audience swiftly, but often, the most unexpected content goes viral. Sometimes, a lesser-known creator shares something with their intimate audience, and it unexpectedly gains massive attention, as was the case here.

The TikToker discusses a detaching ear

Kalina Brodowska, a TikToker with nearly 30,000 followers, often shares lifestyle content. Her videos usually garner around 10,000 views, with some reaching up to 50,000. However, her latest video has been seen by over 110,000 people. In this video, she shared a rather alarming confession with her audience.

"Do you ever feel like your ear comes off occasionally?" she inquired of her viewers. She explained further: "I don't mean it comes off completely... It really hurts and burns, as if my ear is detaching." Ultimately, she reassured her followers by noting that the wound always heals eventually.

Internet users empathize

Surprisingly, many people in the comments disclosed having faced similar issues. They commented: "I thought it was just me," "How can I get rid of it?", "I experienced something similar; it was dry, and I have a cream for it. You need to apply it daily. If I remember, I'll share the name tomorrow; remind me," "My son had a 'torn ear' when he was severely allergic to dairy," "I often experienced it when I had active psoriasis," and "The last time my ear cracked, it burned and hurt a lot." Of course, TikTok should not be the sole source of medical advice; it's always best to consult a specialist for any health concerns.
