Victoria Jackson, known for her work on the satirical show "Saturday Night Live," announced dramatic news. The actress and comedian revealed that doctors have discovered an inoperable tumour in her trachea. She disclosed that her expected lifespan is about three years.

"Doctors can't operate on the tumour in my chest, which is located on my trachea and would eventually choke me," explained Jackson in a video posted on Instagram. Nonetheless, she pointed to hope in the form of a "magical pill" based on ribociclib, an anti-cancer drug, which has the potential to shrink the tumour. The actress, researching the expected lifespan with such treatment, found information stating that it is, on average, 33 months.

Despite the depressing news, Jackson maintains a positive attitude: "I've had a fantastic life," she says, emphasizing that the awareness of her limited remaining time prompts her to reflect on life. The actress also expressed hope to experience a few important moments in her family's life, including the birth of a grandchild.

Several years of fighting cancer

Victoria Jackson, who first revealed that she had breast cancer in 2016, was a member of the "Saturday Night Live" cast from 1986 to 1992. The actress, known for her parody talents and performances in the "Weekend Update" segment, emphasizes that despite the diagnosis, she wants to make the most of each day. In her latest Instagram post with a humorous touch, she mentioned that she has 35 months of life ahead of her, "unless she gets hit by a meteor, shot by a MAGA hater, gets COVID again, or World War III breaks out."

Victoria Jackson has appeared in dozens of films, mainly comedies. Some of the more notable productions she has been involved in include comedies like "I Love You to Death," "Ultra Short," and "Baby Boom."
