Using fitted sheets on the beach: A clever hack for sand-free fun

During relaxation on the beach, the worst part is the sand that constantly sneaks into our clothes, food, or toys. But Poles have found a solution for that, too. More and more often, they are taking... fitted sheets to the beach.

Most of us can't imagine a vacation without beach time. Spending time on the beach is a symbol of summer laziness. Just prepare something to eat and drink, bring your favourite book or magazine, and layout on the warm sand.

What probably annoys everyone on the beach is the sand that passersby carelessly spills onto our towels or blankets. It quickly travels to our clothes, children's toys, or, worse, into our food. This is not only annoying but also unhygienic.

A fitted sheet on the beach is a great trick

But there is a solution for that too. Simply swap the traditional beach towel for... an ordinary fitted sheet. Although it seems strange—and many people simply smile at this sight—it is a very effective and practical solution.

A fitted sheet helps keep the area free of sand. Thanks to this, we can keep our things organized and avoid the presence of ants and other insects in our relaxing spot.

Stretch the sheet and place objects in the four corners to hold it down, such as bags or shoes. This way, you create "walls" that protect your resting place from sandy intruders. Genius, right?
