Detailed information about the operation was conveyed via a Telegram message. "At night, Ukrainian defense forces carried out a successful attack on the S-400 missile system located near Dzhankoi, and also on two S-300 systems situated around Chornomorske and Yevpatoriya," the statement reads.

Dzhankoi is a city located in the northern part of Crimea, while Chornomorske and Yevpatoriya are situated in the western part of the peninsula.

The statement emphasized that none of the missiles fired by Ukraine were intercepted by the opponent's "highly effective" missile defense. "After our missile attacks in the mentioned areas, we immediately noticed that the radars of the S-300 and S-400 systems ceased operation," it was stated.

"Russian air defense suffered significant losses"

The General Staff also added that after the attacks, there were ammunition explosions in the locations where the Russian battalions were stationed.

"Thanks to the effective combat actions of our defense forces, Russian air defense in the occupied Crimea suffered significant losses," declared the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, highlighting the success of the operation.
