Ukrainian forces strike Kosa Tenderowska, destroy Russian assets

Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) operated on Kosa Tenderowska Island in the Black Sea, within the Russian-occupied part of the Kherson region. Fortifications and military equipment of the Russian army were destroyed.

HUR provided detailed information on its Telegram channel.

Success for Kyiv: they attacked the island

"At night, a special forces landing group operated on Kosa Tenderowska Island. As a result of this operation, enemy armoured vehicles were destroyed, including MT-LB amphibious armoured personnel carriers, electronic warfare systems, and Russian fortifications were ruined," the statement read.

The Artan units and HUR Marine Centre participated in the operation. "During the fighting, the Russian invaders suffered personnel losses—the exact number is being determined. After completing the task, the Ukrainian scouts withdrew without losses," the communiqué reported.

Kosa Tenderowska attacked

The operation was carried out on Kosa Tenderowska Island, which is located in the northern part of the Black Sea. The island is 64 kilometres long and 1.6 kilometres wide. The spit is located to the northwest of Russian-occupied Crimea. This operation is another step in Ukraine's fight against Russian occupation.
