Beijing mentioned the "three principles of de-escalation." "This means that the battlefield should not expand, the war should not escalate, and neither side should allow provocations that lead to an escalation of hostilities by either side," reads the published statement of Chinese diplomacy.
"China will continue to maintain contact with the international community and play a constructive role in facilitating a political solution to the crisis," emphasizes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing.
Ukrainian offensive in Kursk region: Kyiv's forces are advancing
Published recordings and Russian and Ukrainian reports from August 10 and August 11 indicate that Kyiv's forces continue to advance west and northwest in the Kursk region, reports the Institute for the Study of War based on geolocation data.
The American institute also reports that "Russian sources largely claim that Moscow's troops have stabilized the situation." However, photos and recordings published online indicate that the Ukrainian offensive is not losing momentum.
