"Last night, Russia struck our cities again. Civilians were injured, houses destroyed, and critical infrastructure damaged," emphasized Umerov on social media.
At the same time, he appealed to partners to lift the restrictions on using donated weapons against enemy military targets.
"Once again, this proves that to win, we need long-range capabilities and to lift restrictions on attacks on enemy military targets. Ukraine is preparing its response – weapons of its own production," he announced.
The minister also expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims of Monday's shelling.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia attacked his country with over one hundred missiles and nearly one hundred drones.
In his opinion, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin "is sick, but he does what the world allows him to do."
The head of the Ukrainian state informed that most regions in his country were attacked and there are fatalities as well as dozens of injured.
