Donald Trump was in the middle of a speech when several shots suddenly rang out. The former president covered his ear and bent down. A second later, he was surrounded by Secret Service agents. "Down, down, down," one of the agents shouted. After a moment, another shot was fired, and a woman’s scream was heard.
The agents ordered Trump to stand up. Then, they ordered that the stairs be ready. Trump tried to say something, but his words were unclear. More agents appeared on the stage.

It was reported that the shooter was dead. "Let me get my shoes," Trump said to the agents. "I’ve got you," he heard in response and repeated the request for his shoes.
An agent pointed out to Trump that his head was bleeding, but the former president again mentioned his shoes. When he heard "okay," he turned to the audience and raised his fist. "Fight," Trump repeated three times, after which he was taken off the stage.
