Trump's blacklist: Exclusion lists stir critics' fears
Donald Trump has published on social media the names of people who will not be welcome in his administration, raising concerns among critics, reports the Huffington Post.
Donald Trump, the former President of the USA, released lists on social media of individuals who will be excluded from his administration. According to the Huffington Post, these lists, referred to as blacklists, are causing unease among Trump's critics.
Featured on the lists are Republicans who have criticized Trump and officials from his previous administration. Among them is former National Security Advisor John Bolton, whom Trump described as "dumb as a rock."
Trump emphasized that individuals connected to his policy critics should not be recommended for his administration. As reported by the Huffington Post, this suggests that federal offices will be staffed by Trump loyalists.
Trump hires
On the Truth Social platform, Trump announced that his team has already hired over 1,000 people for the new administration. "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN," he added.
The editor-in-chief of the Bulwark website, William Kristol, observed that the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is removing functions from congress members not sufficiently loyal to Trump.
According to the Associated Press, Trump’s team is inquiring about federal employees' political preferences. Recruitment is being managed by the Heritage Foundation and the America First Policy Institute.
