Information about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump quickly spread around the world. The images and videos from the incident are terrifying, and the internet is full of conspiracy theories. Supporters of the billionaire have created t-shirts with photos from the shooting.

The rally of Donald Trump, which took place on Saturday, July 13, 2024, will go down in history, but not because of the number of supporters of the former president of the United States gathered at the assembly. It will be remembered for the shooting during which Trump was wounded in the ear. Two people died in the attack: a man from the crowd and the assailant. Two others were seriously injured. Trump’s fans are using the situation to start a new business.

Fans of Donald Trump are not idle. Supporters of the former U.S. president and current Republican candidate took the opportunity to support him on his way to re-election. They created t-shirts featuring a photo of the assassination attempt and the captions "I will never stop fighting for America" and "Shooting makes me stronger." The clothing is hugely popular among Trump fans. Is monetizing a tragedy moral? Doubtful.

Trump survives, but a husband and father die in the attack

Although the bullet wounded Donald Trump in the ear, the former president did not sustain major injuries. However, Corey Comperatore lost his life. The man became a living shield—he dropped everything to protect his family. His daughter, Allyson Comperatore, wrote on Facebook: "Yesterday, time stopped. And when it started again, my family and I began to live in a real nightmare. What was supposed to be an exciting day that we all looked forward to (especially my dad) turned into the most traumatic experience imaginable. I know the media will cover this event. And I will try not to follow everything, especially since I have already seen and experienced it live. But I want everyone to know what the media will not show and will not say about him."

"He was the best dad a girl could dream of. [...] He always answered the phone, did everything that was needed, and if he didn't know how, he found a way. He could converse and make friends with anyone, which he did all day yesterday and loved it. He was a man of God, deeply loved Jesus, and cared for our church and its members like family. The media won’t say that he died as a true superhero. They won’t say how quickly he threw my mom and me to the ground. They won’t say that he shielded my body from the bullet that was coming our way," wrote the girl in an emotional farewell.

Allyson concluded her post with a message directly to her father: "Dad, I love you so much that words fail to express how deep this love is. I know you will cause quite a stir in heaven. I know that God is proud of the man who came to His gates yesterday."
