Trump fires up campaign with McDonald's kitchen stint
The race for the U.S. presidency is becoming increasingly fierce and absurd. Donald Trump, the Republican Party candidate, reportedly announced that he will briefly serve as a chef at a popular fast-food restaurant.

In less than a month—on November 5—the presidential elections will be held in the U.S. The competition is between Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, and Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate. Experts' forecasts remain unclear, and the candidates' chances seem equal. The election results truly depend on a few states where Trump and Kamala are still vying for votes, trying to persuade the undecided to support them and cast a ballot.
Presidential campaigns and candidates' tours across the U.S.A. will continue until the last moment. The most critical events are the meetings and rallies in places where the number of Democratic and Republican voters is roughly the same. The so-called swing states include Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, where the fight for votes is most intense.
In the heat of this year's competition, Donald Trump decided to bring out the big guns. The "Philadelphia Inquirer" reports that the former president declared that during a stop in Pennsylvania, he will don a chef's hat and serve food at one of the McDonald's restaurants.
Will Donald Trump become a chef at McDonald's? Jealous of Kamala?
Trump's declaration has its roots in a conflict with Kamala Harris. The former U.S. president disputes her work experience, claiming she gained some at a popular fast-food restaurant.
"We don't want to hear false promises, or lies that she worked long and hard frying fries at McDonald's," he said at a rally in North Carolina. "She never worked at McDonald's. It's a false story," insisted Donald Trump. To make his point more convincing, he has reportedly decided to work in the restaurant's kitchen himself.
"I think I'll go to McDonald's in two weeks and work on fries. I'll work longer and harder at McDonald's than she did, even if I do it for half an hour," the former U.S. president allegedly announced, adding that he would include "chef" in his résumé.
