The administration of President Donald Trump reacted strongly to Selena Gomez's emotional appearance. The artist was unable to hold back tears when referring to the recent mass arrests carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). They accuse the star of a lack of empathy for people "murdered by illegal immigrants."

The White House published a video on Instagram and other social media platforms on Friday evening, showcasing three cases in which immigrants allegedly killed women.

Kayla Hamilton, Jocelyn Nungaray, and Rachel Morin were murdered by illegal aliens. Their courageous mothers had something to say to @SelenaGomez and those who oppose securing our borders — cites the portal TMZ.

In the video mentioned, mothers Alexis Nungaray, Tammy Nobles, and Patty Morin share their pain and accuse the actress of pretending to "gain sympathy for lawlessness." As Patty says, "They didn’t cry for our daughters."

Recognition for Trump's actions

The women who participated in the recording also expressed recognition for the 45th president for strengthening immigration policy in the USA after returning to the White House at the beginning of this month.

As it is known, Selena, being the third generation of Mexicans in America, had a different opinion on the mass deportations. She published a video in which she openly expressed her agitation over ICE actions, claiming that her people are "under attack." She quickly deleted the video and later defended herself by saying she was simply showing "empathy."

It’s not only the current president's administration that is targeting Selena Gomez. The artist lost over 800,000 followers who used to follow her Instagram account.
