According to media reports, including the Meduza portal, a bank employee in Moscow pushed his wife and child out of a 16th-floor window. Tragically, both lost their lives. Some sources suggest that during the incident, Alexander Lipatov and his wife were "under the influence of strong substances."

As reported by the prosecutor's office in Moscow, on Sunday, August 25th morning, the bodies of a woman and a child were found beneath the windows of a residential building on Krasnokazarmennaya Street. They sustained fatal injuries from the fall.

The prosecutor's office's Telegram channel posted a statement on the matter. It all happened in the elite residential complex Lefortovo Park.

According to initial information, the man pushed the woman and the child out of the window and then began throwing things out of the apartment. Representatives of the security and emergency services arrived at the scene, and Moscow police cordoned off the area.

According to the prosecutor's office in Moscow, the perpetrator of the murder turned out to be a 39-year-old Russian. He was detained. According to the prosecutor, a 36-year-old woman and her son, born in 2023, were killed. The detained man received medical assistance.

According to media reports, the detainee's name is Alexander Lipatov. He worked at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation until spring 2024. After that, he left his job and has been unemployed since.

This information has not been confirmed by the police or the prosecutor's office. After being arrested, Lipatov was taken to the toxicology department of the Sklifosovsky Emergency Medicine Research Institute. A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is currently underway into the murder of two people.
