Formula 1 has been experiencing a resurgence recently, attracting major automotive companies. An example is Audi, which is taking over Sauber. Joining the group of manufacturers wanting to make their presence felt in the paddock is Toyota.

The Japanese giant has announced a partnership with the American team Haas. The collaboration is expected to benefit both parties. Toyota will offer Haas its expertise, engineers, and headquarters in Cologne, Germany, while Haas will provide Toyota with an opportunity to explore advanced F1 technologies further. Toyota engineers are also set to co-develop the cars' aerodynamics and influence the operation of key components.

Time will tell if this cooperation will develop into something larger. For now, Toyota is not planning a full return to F1, but who knows? Maybe the experience gained with Haas will pave the way for the creation of a factory team in a few years?
