Joe Biden in California. Huge amount of money raised
Joe Biden visited California over the weekend as part of his campaign. The politician met with former President Obama and several celebrities, including George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Jimmy Kimmel.
During the event, they raised over 30 million dollars for Biden’s campaign. The president urged voters to remember when Donald Trump held office and resided in the White House.
The venue where the gala took place was heavily guarded by police units in full riot gear. A protest against the Biden administration's policy on the conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip also took place nearby.
The first election debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump will occur on CNN on June 27, and the second on ABC on September 10. The U.S. presidential election will be held on November 5.
