Ryanair passenger's bomb joke forces emergency landing
One of Ryanair's passengers was arrested after making an indecent confession. The incident occurred on board a plane flying from Ibiza to Milan.

Flying from Ibiza to Milan, the plane immediately returned to the departure airport, which was paralysed for over an hour due to this incident. The incident on the Ryanair flight caused a domino effect. The airport services grounded all planes scheduled to take off at that time.
The airport services reported that three flights, one from Bilbao, one from London's Heathrow, and another from Bologna in Italy, were redirected to Palma. Air traffic was completely halted from 9:30 AM to approximately 10:30 AM Eastern Time.

A Civil Guard spokesman reported that bomb disposal experts confirmed the absence of explosives on board. The Italian passenger was arrested and now faces criminal charges, including causing financial losses to the airport.
