Does Vladimir Putin's army have problems in the war? According to the latest information, it does. In Russian regions, hundreds of mobilized people who refused to fight against Ukraine are being forcibly sent to the front.

As "Verstka" has learned, individuals who refuse military service due to their beliefs are being put on planes and sent to war, regardless of their health conditions and planned court hearings.

According to two lawyers and three families of those who refused to fight, at the beginning of the May weekend, 40 machine gunners and fighters with sticks entered the building where the refusers were being held.

And they took over the entire floor from there — according to the relatives, 170-180 people. They were herded into buses and sent to the military airport, and from there, straight to a plane.

Those who consciously refused to fight on Ukrainian territory are being held on military bases and then sent to the front and other regions without their consent — reads Telegram.

Such forced expulsions began en masse in May. As one investigator told the wife of a detainee: "We didn't come up with this; it's an order from Moscow."

Huge Russian losses in the war

On May 25, 2024, at 8:00 AM Eastern Time, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian personnel losses in Ukraine exceeded half a million soldiers.

Despite offensive superiority, Vladimir Putin's army is losing a lot of equipment. From mid-February 2024 to May 23, 2024, the Russians lost as many as 1,185 tanks, or about 130 per month.

In addition, the Russians reportedly lost 2,657 personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, or about 885 per month. Previously, these monthly losses were at the level of about 505 per month.
