During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Russian Baltimor base in the Voronezh region was attacked. Air raid sirens and sounds of explosions were heard in the city. A fire broke out at the base.

Numerous Russian channels on the Telegram app report that drones attacked the Voronezh region throughout the night. "Local residents hear explosions, several fires are visible," we read. One of the targets of the attack was supposed to be the Russian military airport Baltimor in Voronezh.

Recordings from Voronezh appeared on social media.

Russian air defence remains active also in the regions of Belgorod and Kursk. The recordings feature the operation of air defence, explosions, and wailing air raid sirens.

Some of the footage published online is also said to show the raid's aftermath. The photos and videos show a fire whose source is believed to be in the area of the Baltimor military base.

Russian authorities state that drones were shot down, and the falling wreckage of drones caused fires. There are also reports of an attack on another base in the Voronezh region in Borisoglebsk.

Restless night also in Ukraine

The night was also restless in Ukraine. Continuous air raid alerts were in effect in most of the country. The Russians attacked Ukraine using kamikaze drones. Explosions were recorded in Zhytomyr.

Drones were also seen in the central part, in the Kyiv region, and the west and the Kherson region. So far, there is no information about damages or casualties.
