"A video is circulating on the internet showing Russian soldiers mocking Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to preliminary information, this took place near Kharkiv, where Russians are currently attempting to conduct offensive operations," Lubinets stated.

"The recording captures beatings, humiliation, threats, and a fake shooting. Unfortunately, such treatment of Ukrainian prisoners of war is not an exception but a common tactic of the occupiers," he added.

Russia does not adhere to humanitarian law. "Another proof"

Lubinets emphasized that such actions constitute a violation of the Geneva Convention, which guarantees the humane treatment of prisoners of war.

He mentioned that this issue should be recorded as another proof of Russia's violation of international humanitarian law. "This will be another addition to the evidence base for a future criminal tribunal," he wrote.
