Chicken in mushroom sauce
Ingredients:
- chicken breast,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 200 grams of mushrooms,
- 150 mL of stock,
- 200 mL of double cream,
- salt and pepper to taste,
- 2-3 tablespoons of butter,
- a teaspoon of plain flour,
- dill or chives for serving.
Method of Preparation:
- Clean the chicken fillet and cut it into small strips.
- Rub the meat with garlic pressed through a garlic press, salt, and pepper.
- Fry it in butter for a few minutes, then add the mushrooms. Stir and fry until the mushrooms release their moisture.
- Pour over the stock and cook for a while.
- Add the cream mixed with flour.
- Heat for a moment; the sauce thickens quickly. You can season it with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve the chicken in the sauce sprinkled with dill or chives. It pairs well with grains or rice.
