At the Kremlin, bizarre words from Putin have surfaced again. "Today we are making another concrete, real peace proposal," stated the Russian dictator. He emphasized that the new Russian peace is aimed at the "final resolution" of the conflict rather than "freezing it."

Many of the information provided by Russian media or government officials is part of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information war conducted by the Russian Federation.

"Ukrainian troops must be completely withdrawn from the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions," stated Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Putin sets bizarre conditions

The new Russian peace proposal does not aim to "freeze the conflict" but to completely resolve it, claims Putin. "Today we are making another concrete, real peace proposal. Our principled position is that Ukraine’s status must be a neutral, nonaligned, free of nuclear weapons," he said.

"As soon as Kyiv says it is ready to do this and begins really withdrawing troops and officially renounces plans to join NATO, we will immediately — literally that very minute — cease-fire and begin talks."

"All these basic principal conditions must be set through fundamental international agreements. Naturally, this involves the cancellation of all western sanctions against Russia," Putin continued.

He added that "The status of Crimea, 'L/DPR', Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions as regions of the Russian Federation should be fixed in international treaties."

Putin also thundered, "If Kyiv and western capitals refuse it as they did before, then that’s their issue at the end of the day — their political and moral responsibility for the continued bloodshed."

"Obviously, the facts on the ground at the front will continue to change, not in the Kyiv regime’s favour, and the conditions to begin negotiations will be different," he concluded.
