Prince William can count on considerable financial benefits due to his duties. Thanks to a financial report, the earnings received by the heir to the throne last year have come to light.

Millions of fans around the world have followed the daily life of the British royal family for years. A lot of attention is focused on the duties that the royals have. Prince William has quite a bit to say on the matter, especially in the face of his wife's and father's illnesses, which currently leave him with a full schedule. It is also worth mentioning the death of Queen Elizabeth II, which prompted significant changes, for example, in patronages. However, royal duties can be exceptionally beneficial in terms of wealth.

The Duchy of Cornwall publishes an annual Integrated Annual Report where one can learn about the royals' earnings. The latest available data reveal how much Prince William gained in his first year of managing the assets of the Duchy of Cornwall. The amount is staggering.

The portal "People," based on the mentioned report, calculated that Prince William earned 40 million Canadian dollars from the Duchy of Cornwall's assets in the last financial year of 2023-2024. The impressive sum covers official, charitable, and private expenses for the 42-year-old and his family. However, it is noted that the heir to the throne pays a voluntary income tax on the excess annual income from the Duchy of Cornwall. "People" emphasizes that the exact amount Prince William pays is not specified.

When Charles officially took the royal throne, his older son inherited the title of Duke of Cornwall and properties and businesses. According to media reports, their value exceeds a billion Canadian dollars. However, the "People" editorial team noted that Prince William's estate, which includes land, farms, houses, and other assets, is meant to support the heir to the throne and his family.
