Love can be blind. It can surprise us with its unpredictability, making us overlook flaws and differences that, under other circumstances, might divide partners. When one is in love, the heart often guides us to places the mind wouldn't necessarily go.

Instead of calculating, we often give in to emotions that obscure reality, showing our loved ones in an ideal light. This blindness of love can be beautiful because it allows us to love unconditionally, but it can also be dangerous when we stop seeing the truth behind our feelings. Strong emotions can lead to inappropriate behaviour.

He stole cosmetics out of love

A video appeared on TikTok that shocked internet users. A man boasted about his irresponsible behaviour. The lovestruck internet user stole cosmetics from an expensive store for his girlfriend. A police car pulled up in front of his house. The police searched his belongings, handcuffed him, and led him out of the building.

The man was incredibly lucky. Just a few days later, he posted another TikTok in which he bragged that he could keep all the cosmetics. Additionally, in the comments, he assured everyone that the charges were dismissed.

Are girls charmed by the thief?

An animated discussion erupted online about whether his behaviour was foolish or romantic. Many girls admitted they would like their partners to behave like this toward them: "I want someone like this," "my type," "I don't know, I like it. You can see that even though he couldn't afford it, he made an effort. Even if he got arrested, he wanted to do something nice for me and knew the risk."
