The upcoming Olympic Games in Paris are drawing the attention of millions. Sports fans are gearing up to cheer for their countries' representatives, while local restaurant owners are counting on incoming profits. However, it turns out that not everyone will have a pleasant time in Paris.

The sexuality of athletes at the Olympic Games has always sparked controversy. The actions of the Olympic organizers are twofold: on the one hand, they provide condoms, while on the other, they build cardboard beds that are supposed to collapse if overloaded. In the Olympic Village, representatives of 206 countries are expected to find approximately 200,000 male condoms and 20,000 female condoms. Despite this, Olympic organizers do everything they can to limit casual encounters.

Olympic Games not for gays?

Portal X user Louis Pisano is raising the alarm. According to him, Olympic organizers are making it difficult for gay athletes to have romances. There is irrefutable evidence of this. The app Grindr, which is the gay version of Tinder, has been blocked in the Olympic Village. Louis tested this by trying to check profiles in the specified location. It turned out to be impossible, which he believes is clear evidence of Grindr being blocked in the selected location.

This is not the first time Olympic organizers have blocked Grindr. A similar incident occurred during the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Although many people mock the blockade, some understand the committee’s decision and explain it logically: "Unfortunately, I understand why they did it, because many athletes have been outed, including in countries where being LGBTQ+ is illegal or taboo," wrote one Internet user. Some people joke that because of the Grindr blockade, Tom Daley, the British diver and gay man who has been in a marital relationship for several years, will not be able to enjoy his stay in Paris.
