Paige VanZant debuted in professional MMA in 2012. Her first opponent was Jordan Nicole Gaza, whom she defeated by a judge's decision. Just two years later, the American was signed by the UFC.
She fought with Rose Namajunas, Michelle Waterson-Gomez, and Rachael Ostovich. Her last fight was in July 2020 against Amanda Ribas. Her record is 8 wins and 5 losses. She later tried bare-knuckle fighting but without success.
After ending her journey with fighting sports, she quickly found a new, lucrative occupation. She became a star on one of the adult sites, where she sells her daring photos, among other things.
An adult site is definitely my biggest source of income. I would say that within a day I made more than in my entire sports career — admitted the American.
The former UFC star shocks. She returned to sports
Paige VanZant decided to return to sports. The American was seen on Friday at 8 PM ET at the Power Slap event organized at the Fontainebleau Hotel & Casino. VanZant's opponent was Christine Wolmarans.
I’ve gone from the UFC to bareknuckle boxing to boxing to Power Slap, I’ve done pro wrestling. I just want to compete. I had an absolutely incredible time doing this. I think that they’re gonna want me back absolutely, so I do see a future here. I just want to compete, and I want to live my life and have fun, show off how tough I am — she emphasizes.
VanZant won the fight against Wolmarans by decision of the judges after three rounds of open-hand slapping each other in the face.
