The war in Ukraine continues to take an enormous toll on the Russian side. According to the latest reports, the number of slain soldiers is increasing daily.

On Wednesday, we reported that the Russians lost 1,060 soldiers, 30 artillery systems, 20 armoured fighting vehicles, and 9 tanks.

During the past 24 hours alone, Russian forces suffered significant losses of 1,370 soldiers. This information was conveyed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.

Russia also lost 9 tanks and 42 armoured fighting vehicles, indicating the intensity of the ongoing military actions.

Russia has a problem. Not just on the front

Russia is trying to fill the gaps by signing contracts with thousands of recruits. However, this is not an easy task. The number of deserters in the Russian army who refuse military service is increasing.

Human rights defenders report torture being used against those who try to avoid fighting. Russia is now battling the enemy on the front line and its internal problems.

Such significant losses and supply problems are negatively affecting the morale of Russian soldiers.

The "Without Camouflage" portal writes that signs of a turning point are visible, and some information even suggests a moderately optimistic picture for Ukraine. Russian soldiers are losing their footing, which could lead to even more desertions.
