A few days ago, British and German media circulated information about a missing 14-year-old. The young American had been on a Baltic Sea cruise ship for several days, but he disappeared on Thursday after stopping at Rostock-Warnemünde port. Now, the boy has been found.

Since the beginning of July, British and German media have been extensively covering the disappearance of 14-year-old Aydin Brown. The boy, along with his grandmother, had been on a Caribbean Princess cruise for several days. During the cruise, the ship visited the largest ports of the Baltic Sea.

The cruise proceeded smoothly until Thursday, July 4, when, preparing to depart from the Rostock-Warnemünde port, the ship's crew was informed that 14-year-old Aydin had not returned to the ship from the city. From that moment, German authorities began searching for the boy.

Initial reports indicated that Aydin Brown was last seen around 1 AM ET, when he was leaving the Caribbean Princess cruise ship while talking to an unidentified man. Moments later, cameras located at the church square in Warnemünde saw him. From that moment, the boy's trail disappeared.

Successful search for the teenager in Germany

Later that same day, the American's grandmother left the ship and began a search in cooperation with the German police. Fortunately, authorities found the boy, who reunited with his family safely and sound on Saturday, June 6. The cruise organizer expressed their gratitude for the successful location of the boy.

We are delighted that Aydin Brown has been found safe and sound [...] We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the German authorities for their quick response and exceptional efforts in locating Aydin after he went ashore in Warnemünde last Thursday morning, reads the Saturday statement from Princess Cruises.
