But cosmetic mishaps weren't everything. It turns out that another reason was Harry's wife's jealousy over the Beckhams' financial status. As Tom Bower suggests, Meghan did not like that Victoria and David could boast a substantial fortune.

She was irritated to discover that the Beckhams had considerably more wealth than herself. They owned five homes, had constant access to private jets, invitations to sail on yachts and much more money. And she was soon to be a duchess – states the biographer.
