Map reveals over 30 Russian aircraft hit by Ukraine in 2024

The Ukrainians created a map of Russian aircraft hits in 2024. It was emphasized that not all aircraft were destroyed, and some probably went for repairs.

The Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine created a map of successful hits on Russian aircraft within the first six months of 2024.

"Some were damaged but could return to airports for repairs. Additionally, in some cases, it was not possible to reliably determine the models of the destroyed aircraft. Information will be updated and supplemented," the statement said.

Over 30 aircraft

According to the data, the Ukrainians managed to hit over 30 Russian military aircraft, including nine Su-25s, thirteen Su-34s, and two MiG-31s.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian invaders have lost 361 aircraft and 326 helicopters.
