How do you prepare a detergent for washing clothes? Contrary to appearances, it's not difficult at all. Everything we need can be found in our kitchen. The product, which will be indispensable in this case, costs about $1.60 and is available in nearly every store.

Some of us often feel like the laundry in our homes is never-ending. Unfortunately, this also means spending money on special detergents that we need for this purpose. Unfortunately, they can have an impact on the condition of our washing machine and even on the environment.

We also dream of having our laundry smell excellent. For this purpose, we reach for various fabric softeners. However, not everyone knows they can be successfully replaced with another much cheaper product, vinegar, which has been known to us all for generations.

How to make homemade fabric softener?

Just pour it into the compartment in the washing machine designated for fabric softener, then set the appropriate program. If you care about a specific scent, add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to the vinegar.

In this way, you will not only be able to enjoy beautifully scented clothes but also take care of your washing machine. Vinegar helps disinfect the washing machine, prevents mould from appearing in it, and eliminates unpleasant odours.

Mix with baking soda. Quickly make homemade laundry detergent

To save money, it's also worth considering preparing homemade fabric softener and a detergent for washing clothes. Baking soda and soap flakes are alternatives to chemical products.

They should be mixed in a 1:1 ratio, then wash the soiled clothes. You can safely use this for colourful, white, and delicate laundry.
