Their paths crossed in 2009. There is probably no need to introduce Keanu Reeves to anyone. Alexandra Grant studied at Swarthmore College and earned a degree in art history. She is a painter and performer, a visual artist. She collaborated with the Hollywood star while preparing illustrations for his books "Ode to Happiness" and "Shadows." She also photographed the actor during the filming of "John Wick."
A more profound feeling between Grant and Reeves only developed after several years of acquaintance. They first appeared together publicly in June 2019 at the presentation of the Saint Laurent collection. They quickly became a favourite Hollywood couple.
It’s tough not to like them. They are always smiling, warm, and open. They elicit immense sympathy from journalists, photographers, and viewers who especially appreciate their naturalness. During the past weekend, Alexandra Grant and Keanu Reeves were the guests of honour at the Grand Prix MotoGP Liqui Moly Motorrad motorcycle event in Germany. The photos show them waving a flag with the characteristic chequered pattern.
"They see themselves as soulmates. She loves cooking him meals at home and they both love film and books. They actually have a little book club just the two of them where they read each other’s favourites," we read in "US Weekly" magazine, which cited an actor's friend.
Let's recall that for many years, Keanu Reeves did not appear in public with women, and he generally presented himself alone or in a large group of people at, for example, film premieres. This was related to a traumatic love story. Reeves' partner, Jennifer Syme, gave birth to a stillborn child in 1999. Both took it hard, but the woman could not recover from this tragedy. She fell into a deep depression. Two years later, she died in a car accident.
