Johnny Wactor's family calls for justice after fatal shooting

In the center of Los Angeles, during a press conference, the family of Johnny Wactor, the star of the series "General Hospital," along with friends, appealed for assistance in finding the actor's killers. The actor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, made an emotional plea, asking for any information that could help solve her son's murder.

Johnny Wactor, an actor known for the popular series "General Hospital," died at 37. The tragic incident occurred when Wactor tried to prevent thieves from stealing his car. During the confrontation, he was shot, and the bullet struck him directly in the chest. Despite immediate assistance, the actor died. His death shook both his family and the entire world of show business.

According to witness accounts, Johnny Wactor sacrificed his life to protect his colleague from work. On May 25, after finishing his shift at the bar (the actor was already a "General Hospital" star but still worked part-time at his favourite spot), Wactor walked his coworker Anita Joy to her car. He intervened without hesitation when he noticed three men trying to tow his car. One of the attackers pulled out a gun and opened fire. Wactor shielded Anita with his own body, saving her life.

Last week, the Los Angeles police released surveillance photos showing the three suspects in the crime. The actor's mother, during her speech at Tuesday's public appearance, said:

- I'm asking that anyone that knows anything please come forward. It'll help his brothers in our healing knowing they've been captured and convicted and the strongest penalty. Grief is my constant companion. He promised me he'd be here with me today. I can't wish him happy birthday on August 31. He would've been 38. I can't ask if he's coming home for Christmas. I can't ask how his day went. I don't get any of those things anymore because of what these people did ... for a catalytic converter that they did not get - she said while crying.
