Jennifer Lopez faces personal and professional upheaval amid crisis

Jennifer Lopez finds herself facing immense challenges on both personal and professional fronts. Her career isn't progressing as hoped, and her relationship with Ben Affleck is in turmoil. The singer is reportedly terrified at the prospect of another divorce. "She’s saying she can’t imagine a scenario where she can exist without Ben in her life," an insider close to the star reports.

Jennifer Lopez is in a lamentable situation. Her personal and professional problems intertwine, leading the media to predict the inevitable decline of her career. During this extremely tough period, the diva cannot lean on Ben Affleck, who is allegedly losing patience with her. The crisis in their relationship is taking a toll on her well-being, reflected in her increasingly tricky effort to hold herself together despite her known discipline.

Even cancelling the tour promoting her latest album—which she decided upon with the hope of saving her marriage—didn’t yield the desired outcome. Their Beverly Hills mansion, valued at CAD 85 million, which they bought together after their wedding, has just been put up for sale, which is not a positive sign. According to In Touch magazine, the celebrity has put her pride aside and started pleading with her husband not to give up on their love.

J. Lo left this decision to cancel her tour until the very last second, reports a person close to the star. It was a very hard call for her to make. But then she had a crisis meeting where it was explained to her just how bad ticket sales were and the general consensus was that she’d save face by calling the whole thing off, which was obviously a huge blow, as she was so looking forward to going back on the road and getting comfort from her fans.

Lopez is hopeful she can reason with Ben and convince him to give her another chance. A third divorce after only a few years of marriage would be a tremendous personal failure for her, so she tries to wish away the possibility of that scenario coming true.

As long as no paperwork is actually filed, Jen is still clinging to the possibility, however remote, that they’ll be able to turn things around – adds the insider. She is crying all the time and very upset. She goes from anger one minute, to despair, to panic attacks, to then deluding herself that it’s all just a blip and they’re going to be OK.

Although Jen and Ben have not yet filed for divorce, they are reportedly living apart. The actor currently lives in a rented house in Brentwood, California.
