Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, previously actively supported Donald Trump but are now decidedly distancing themselves from politics.

According to Michael Wolff's book "All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America," a conflict arose between Trump's staff and Ivanka and Jared. Donald Trump was hoping for their public support when the accusations of anti-Semitism emerged, but the couple refused.

Michael Wolff describes how Trump repeatedly turned to Kushner when his stance on Israel was questioned. Nevertheless, his daughter's husband avoided formally endorsing his father-in-law, and the campaign had to settle for a statement claiming Trump was not anti-Semitic.

While Trump remained indecisive, The Washington Post was reportedly working on an article analyzing his past rhetoric, which his team feared could be perceived as anti-Semitic. Despite this, Kushner refrained from explicitly endorsing his father-in-law. As a result, the campaign issued a statement asserting that Trump was not anti-Semitic, according to the book.

Kushner's final response was clear: "No, Ivanka and I aren’t going to do that. We’re not going to put our names on something and get in the middle of things. That’s just not what we’re going to do this time," Wolff quotes him as saying. This position did not satisfy Trump's staff.

Wolff's book sparks controversy. People associated with Trump's campaign question its credibility, urging readers to ignore the publication. Wolff also describes Trump's relationship with Melania, claiming her behaviour was unpredictable for the staff.
