I have always believed that most breakfast ideas shared online by famous nutritionists, celebrities, and influencers are wishful thinking for most of us. Blending red onions and peeled garlic cloves, then mixing them with avocado to create guacamole, is excellent—but I can only prepare it in the morning, maybe once a week. On the other days, I need something much simpler and quicker but still tasty and nutritious. This principle eventually led me to granola.
What exactly is granola? It's a mix of baked nuts, flakes, and dried fruits. In other words, it is a nutritious combination of protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals that provide a long-lasting feeling of fullness and a powerful morning energy boost. For breakfast, we must pour a handful of granola with milk or yogurt (or skyr and other such products) to create a valuable meal that effectively sets us up for a good part of the day.
Discovering granola turned out to be a perfect solution for me. However, I found that the composition of store-bought mixes did not always suit my preferences. So, I made a homemade mix and found the perfect recipe on the jadlonomia.com portal. Now, I make it regularly, store it in a jar and have a supply for two weeks. I recommend you do the same!
