Netflix has shared the first images from the second part of the series "Wednesday." We can see how the crew worked on the set for the continuation. Catherine Zeta-Jones promises that it will be an even bigger hit.

The fact that the series directed by Tim Burton would be a streaming hit was certain from the very beginning. But no one expected "Wednesday" to become such a global sensation, surpassing everything that Netflix had previously produced. Since November 2022, the story of a teenage girl from the Addams family has remained number 1 in the platform's history. The series has been watched for 1.7 billion hours. It has garnered over 250 million views in total. Let's add that the second most-watched Netflix series is the fourth season of "Stranger Things," which was viewed "only" 140 million times.

The second season of the popular series "Wednesday," produced by Netflix, promises to be an even bigger and more twisted story than before. Fans will surely enjoy the return of favourite characters and new cast members.

At the Thursday (September 19) event in Atlanta, Netflix presented an extraordinary behind-the-scenes footage of the second season of "Wednesday." The material features Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, and Victor Dorobantu. It shows scenes from the set, such as Wednesday's arrival at the Academy. Tim Burton remains the director, promising more visual feasts for fans.

Production of the second season of "Wednesday" officially began in May in Ireland. Series creators Al Gough and Miles Millar have expanded the cast with twelve new people, including actors like Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor. Percy Hynes White, who plays Xavier Thorpe in the series, will not appear in the continuation. Thorpe has the power to bring drawings to life and tried to get closer to the main character. Less than a year after the premiere, the 21-year-old Emmy-nominated actor had to face charges of sexual assault. White allegedly intoxicated young women with alcohol and then sexually exploited them.

Fans still have to wait for the announcement of the second season's premiere date.
